About Jeffrey M Burns

Dr. Jeffrey Burns is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed a fellowship at Washington University. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Virginia. Dr. Burns directs the memory care clinic and the neurocognitive division of neurology. He also co-directs the KU Alzheimer's Disease Center, one of 29 nationally-designated research centers in the country. The memory care clinic is a comprehensive clinic for state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatments of individuals with memory problems such as Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. The clinic also provides support and education to the family members of individuals affected by memory problems.
