Alison G Blevins, MD

Dr. Alison Blevins is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She says she enjoys all aspects of her specialty, from delivering babies to performing minimally invasive, robotic surgeries, such as removing ovarian tumors. “As a physician and mother, I remind my patients to take time for themselves, take care of themselves, because they need to be healthy to take care of the rest of their family. I like patients to know that I try to practice evidence-based medicine every day. There’s a lot of information on the internet, and I work with my patients to sift through that information to determine what is actually applicable to their current condition.”

Dr. Blevins earned her medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
