Amy S Markey, MD

Dr. Amy Markey is a rheumatologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. She has clinical interest in a wide spectrum of rheumatologic conditions. These include, but are not limited to, systemic lupus erythematous, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, inflammatory myositis, vasculitis and crystalline arthritis, among others.

She is passionate about providing individualized care, working collaboratively with patients to develop patient-centered strategies for managing challenging rheumatologic disorders. Her goal is to ensure that each patient feels supported throughout their treatment journey by combining evidence-based medicine with compassion and empathy.

Dr. Markey earned her medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed her residency and fellowship training at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
