Ashutosh V Bapat, MD

Dr. Ashutosh Bapat is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subcertification in cardiovascular disease by the National Board of Echocardiography with a subcertification in adult comprehensive echocardiography and by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He believes that patients don’t need to seek heart care elsewhere because of cardiovascular expertise and the many advancements in cardiology. “It’s a benefit to our patients that they don’t have to leave our system and seek their care away from home,” he says.

Dr. Bapat completed a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. He completed residencies at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Saint Francis Hospital and Indiana University School of Medicine.
