Cory T Carpenter, DO

Dr. Cory Carpenter is a board-certified internal medicine primary care physician serving patients in the Overland Park and Greater Kansas City area. He prides himself on providing high-quality, evidence-based care. As part of an academic medical center, he develops individualized care plans with each patient to meet their wellness goals in alignment with collaborating specialties. His clinical interests include chronic disease management for conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes, and he also treats acute illnesses and new symptoms.

In 2022 and 2023, Dr. Carpenter was named in Kansas City magazine’s annual Top Doctors in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Carpenter was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri. He and his wife have 2 young children. When not seeing patients, he enjoys bass fishing, landscaping and Sunday grilling while cheering for his beloved Kansas City Chiefs.
