Dr. David Megee is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in breast surgery, body contouring after weight loss and hand surgery, offering patients a combination of technical expertise and compassionate care.

His practice is dedicated to helping individuals achieve both functional restoration and aesthetic transformation, with a focus on safety, precision and long-lasting results. Whether it is restoring confidence after significant weight loss, addressing complex breast concerns or addressing issues with complex nerve pain, he approaches each case with a focus on what is best for the patient and attention to detail.

In addition to his practice at The University of Kansas Health System, Dr. Megee is passionate about the worldwide development of sustainable growth within the specialty of plastic surgery. He has experience working in Nepal, Tanzania, Bolivia, Belize and Guatemala, with an emphasis on training local surgeons, to offer more complex care for their patients.

He earned his MD at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and he trained in plastic surgery at Southern Illinois University. He then completed a fellowship in hand and peripheral nerve surgery at Washington University in St. Louis.
