Elizabeth W Musil, MD

Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Musil is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She says the most rewarding part of her job is getting to form lasting relationships with her patients and their families. She works to make sure parents have all their questions answered, especially about vaccines. “The educational opportunities with pediatrics are inspiring because I get to educate families on upcoming milestones and changes that they’re going to see so that they are prepared. It’s important for me to learn a family’s goals and to know that their questions are answered when they leave our visit,” says Dr. Musil. “I focus on making sure that children are vaccinated and answering questions for families about vaccines since it’s become sort of a hot topic. I want to make sure families feel comfortable asking me questions so we can address, and hopefully alleviate, any fears they may have related to vaccination so that we can all be on the same page.”

Dr. Musil earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed residency in pediatrics at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health.
