Glenda Holzman, MD

Dr. Glenda Holzman is a board-certified radiologist with special training in musculoskeletal imaging. Aside from reading imaging, she also performs many procedures.

Fluoro-guided procedures Dr. Holzman performs include arthrogram of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip and knee, hysterosalpingogram, joint injections and aspirations, lumbar epidural steroid injections, lumbar punctures with opening pressures, transforaminal selective nerve root injections and trigger point injections.

CT-guided procedures she performs include abscess drain placement, biopsies of most of the body’s major organs as well as intraperitoneal masses and skeletal lesions, bone marrow biopsy, cholecystostomy tube placement and piriformis injection.

Dr. Holzman performs ultrasound-guided processes that include biopsies of organs and soft tissue masses, breast cyst aspiration, paracentesis, thoracentesis and thyroid FNA. She also performs mammography-guided stereotactic breast biopsies.

Dr. Holzman earned her medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She completed her radiology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center and a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at the University of Iowa.
