Dr. Karin Porter-Williamson is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subcertification in hospice and palliative medicine. She completed a fellowship at San Diego Hospice. She earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Porter-Williamson strongly advocates for a patient-centered care philosophy, where treatment plans are closely driven by shared decision-making and compassionate communication about the patient and family's goals for care.
