Dr. N. Vamsi Garikipati is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subcertifications in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. His specialty is heart arrhythmia, and he takes care of patients with pacemakers, defibrillators and other implanted devices, “Heart disease is the No. 1 killer, and my goal is to help allay patients’ concerns by empowering them with knowledge so they can take better care of themselves,” he says.
Dr. Garikipati completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Andhra Medical College and completed his residency at Rochester General Hospital. He earned a master’s in public health from Mercer University School of Medicine.
