About Rachel M DiTeresi

Dr. Rachel DiTeresi is a practicing obstetrician and gynecologist at The University of Kansas Health System. Her goal is to deliver passionate and equitable care to all patients. She enjoys caring for high- and low-risk obstetrical patients. She manages all areas of gynecologic care, including routine annual visits, abnormal pap smears, abnormal uterine bleeding and vulvar disorders. She performs minimally invasive surgeries such as hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries.

Dr. DiTeresi is committed to the education of the future generation of physicians. She currently serves as the director of the third-year obstetrics and gynecology clerkship at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and is an assistant director of the Murphy Learning Society. Her areas of interest include mentorship, diversity, equity, inclusion and health equity.

Her research interests include medical education research, curriculum development and industry-initiated clinical trials with the aim of bringing novel vaccinations to pregnant women.

Dr. DiTeresi grew up in Wichita, Kansas, and loves the Midwest. She graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her obstetrics and gynecology training at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
