Dr. Richard Korentager is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He completed a fellowship at St. Joseph Health Center. He earned his medical degree from and completed his residency at the University of Toronto. He entered the field of plastic surgery as it provides a unique combination of science and artistry in medicine. It gives him the opportunity to work with patients who are undergoing reconstructive plastic surgery, as well as cosmetic surgery, to enhance their lives. His focus on reconstructive breast surgery has allowed him to have a positive impact on the lives of my patients and develop long-term relationships with them.
As a faculty member of the University of Kansas Department of Plastic Surgery, he is privileged to advance the field of plastic surgery through research and education. Training the next generation of doctors and plastic surgeons allows him to always be current, challenged and optimistic for the future.
