Robert C Gibler, PhD

Dr. Robert Gibler is a pediatric psychologist specializing in behavioral pain management. He works with children, adolescents and young adults with chronic pain conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, abdominal pain, headache and migraine. He offers cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which focuses on helping patients learn and practice coping skills such as relaxation techniques, cognitive (thinking) strategies, and lifestyle habits that support pain management (sleep, physical activity, eating and hydration).

In his practice, Dr. Gibler works closely with physicians, physical therapists, dietitians and other professionals to provide the most comprehensive care possible. He completed his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Cincinnati and his APA-accredited residency and T32 postdoctoral fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
