Ryan M Taylor, MD, MS

Dr. Ryan Taylor is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subcertifications in gastroenterology transplant hepatology. He completed a fellowship at the University of Michigan. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City and completed his residency at the University of Michigan. Dr. Taylor provides comprehensive liver management, including care of patients needing liver transplantation, complication of cirrhosis, liver transplant recipients, hepatocellular carcinoma, viral hepatitis B or C, autoimmune hepatitis, fatty liver disease and genetic liver diseases. He works closely with the other members of The University of Kansas Health System team, including Interventional and body radiology, hematology/oncology, and cardiology to provide multidisciplinary care of complex patients. Dr. Taylor’s primary focus is providing the highest level of compassionate patient-centered care. Dr. Taylor is the Medical Director of Liver Transplant at The University of Kansas Health System.
