Dr. Steven Stites is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed a fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Stites specializes in pulmonary diseases, especially in cystic fibrosis, an area he has worked in since 1993. Dr. Stites is dedicated to outstanding and personalized care. He works with the team of professionals in the adult cystic fibrosis program to help offer patients a comprehensive, individualized and cutting-edge approach to care and he directs the University of Kansas Cystic Fibrosis Center.
